Rob Alfieri is a Principal Solutions Architect for Adobe. He has worked in the Technology sector for over 45 years. His career started on the IT career track as a Computer Operator, Programmer, Systems Analyst, Database Administrator, and Programming Manager for IBM mainframe systems building business applications. Joining Compaq in 1987, Rob stepped off the IT career track into technical sales. Over his 13 years there he was part of a team that built a test lab showcasing Compaq PCs operating in networked environments with mainframe and midrange computers. He gained expertise in application and database servers, helped build the early professional services team, and managing operations for the corporate website. Since then, he's worked in Content Management (Interwoven), Identity and Management Services (IBM), and Marketing Automation (IBM, Marketo, Adobe) as an enterprise architect helping customers realize the full value of their software investments.
